Oded Oren

Oded is the Founder & Executive Director of Scrutinize. He is a former public defender in the Bronx. He is a graduate of Harvard College (magna cum laude) and Harvard Law School (cum laude).

Saul Thorkelson

Saul holds a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law (magna cum laude), a Ph.D. in sociology and demography from Princeton University, an M.S. in human geography from Umeå University, and a B.A. in evolutionary biology from Columbia University. His background spans social science research, having formerly served as a professor of sociology and quantitative methods.  

Scrutinize is part of the Urban Justice Center's Social Justice Accelerator program.
